This Privacy Policy explains how GOLMSKA CORP collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit our website, purchase golf products, contact support or otherwise interact with us.
Scope and roles
This policy applies to personal information processed through the GOLMSKA online store, contact forms, customer communications and related services. GOLMSKA CORP is responsible for the processing described here, while Shopify and other providers may separately process information under their own privacy terms.
This policy does not apply to a third-party website or service that we do not control, even when it is linked from our site.
Information you provide
We may collect identifiers and contact details such as name, email, telephone number, billing and shipping address; order and transaction details; account credentials; product preferences; fitting and player information you voluntarily submit; return, warranty and support records; communications; survey or review content; and marketing preferences.
Payment credentials are submitted within the Shopify checkout environment to authorized payment providers. We may receive limited payment-related information such as payment status, method type, billing address and transaction reference, but we do not ask customers to send complete card numbers or security codes through contact forms or email.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website, we and our service providers may collect device and browser information, IP address, approximate location, language, referring URL, pages viewed, interactions, cart activity, checkout events, timestamps, cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers and diagnostic or security data. Some information is collected through cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies.
How we use personal information
We use personal information to operate the online store; process, fulfill and deliver orders; collect payment; communicate about transactions; provide customer service; administer returns and warranty matters; make requested fitting or product recommendations; maintain accounts and carts; prevent fraud and abuse; protect the website; comply with law; keep business records; improve products and user experience; measure site performance; and send marketing where permitted.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be based on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests, consent or another basis recognized by law.
Marketing communications
If you request Early Birds access, subscribe or otherwise consent, we may send product-drop announcements, field notes and related marketing. You can unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email. Transactional and service communications, such as order updates or responses to support requests, may continue even after marketing opt-out.
How information is disclosed
We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the business, including Shopify, payment processors, fraud-prevention providers, fulfillment partners, shipping carriers, cloud hosting, customer support, email delivery, analytics, advertising, professional advisers and information-security providers. They receive information for defined business purposes and are subject to applicable contractual or legal restrictions.
We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, financing, sale, reorganization or transfer of all or part of the business; to comply with law, court order or lawful process; to protect rights, safety and security; or with your direction or consent.
Sale and sharing terminology
We do not sell personal information for money. Certain analytics or advertising disclosures may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing” or targeted advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged. Where required, we provide a method to opt out. A browser-based preference signal such as Global Privacy Control may be recognized where legally required and technically supported.
Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary technologies support security, cart contents, checkout, account access, load balancing and core site functions. Preference technologies remember choices. Analytics technologies help us understand use and performance. Advertising technologies may measure campaigns or help show relevant content.
You can control many technologies through browser settings and, where available, a website privacy control. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent cart, login or checkout functions from operating. Cookie duration varies by purpose and provider.
Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including providing services, maintaining transaction and tax records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements and protecting security. Retention periods depend on the type of information, legal requirements, risk and whether an account or business relationship remains active.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online transmission or storage system is completely secure. You should use unique credentials, protect account access and contact us if you believe an interaction or account has been compromised.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability or a copy of personal information; to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling; to restrict or object to processing; to withdraw consent; or to appeal a denied request.
To exercise a right, use the Contact page or the details below and identify the request. We may verify identity and authority before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and direct identity verification. We will not unlawfully discriminate for exercising a privacy right.
State-specific notices
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may request the categories or specific pieces of information collected, sources, purposes and recipient categories, subject to exemptions. The categories described in Sections 2 and 3 include identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, approximate geolocation, inferences from preferences and submitted fitting information. We process these categories for the purposes in Section 4 and disclose them to the recipients in Section 6.
Children
The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate. Purchases by minors must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
International processing
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where Shopify or our providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, transfers are supported by approved contractual or legal mechanisms.
External services
Third-party services have their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy information presented by Shopify, payment providers and any external service you choose to use. GOLMSKA is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of services outside our control.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal or regulatory changes. The revised version will be posted with an updated date. If a change materially alters how previously collected information is used, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
Privacy contact
Use the Contact page for privacy questions or rights requests. Include the jurisdiction in which you reside and the nature of the request, but do not send sensitive payment credentials.
